Genre

First things first, we had to come up with a genre of film for which we would then create our film opening. We looked at the different types of film genres and felt that choosing the genre of 'Romantic Comedy'.

We've decided to go with this genre seems simple and open to many different options. I like the idea of challanging the ordinary and attempting to create a unique storyline which goes against the stereotypical romantic comedy genre but has the same main conventions and aspects.

 

 

Seeing as there are many films within this genre, it should be relatively easy to deconstruct other film openings and get an overall idea on how to aproach this task.
